The Dream Stuff

Spoilt breakfast, tattered clothes,

And twenty red caterpillars

Slowly crawling down

A half-finished road-

These aren’t the things

That make for a pleasant dream

But neither are these

The stuff of nightmares,

And that is a scary thought

To fall asleep with.
