Seeking Oblivion

I.

some people try

to make good use

of magic

by choosing moths

over butterflies.

II.

I stick my tongue out,

and roll my eyes

in a nod to the riot inside,

and pretend to enjoy

a quiet life;

not a word, not a fight!
