I reconnect sometimes
to the reality,
and it feels like a lifetime
before I disconnect;
there are no wires,
but the signal distortion
never lasts long,
and I wonder how long
can I live like that
before the two timelines
merge into one,
and I forget
what it was like
not to belong?

A stunning poem, I adore; and, the PKD quote is exactly so. Lovely work, Aaysid. 👏👏
